Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a letter cost? Each letter costs £3.95, and this includes postage costs to anywhere in the world. The PDF version costs £2.95.
What makes the letters produced by you so special? Our letters are all personalised for each recipient – that means even if you place an order for more than one child in the same family, each one will be totally unique. In addition, each letter is personally signed not only by the Big Guy in red, but also hoofprinted from Rudolph!
How soon can I order a letter? Now! Christmas is a busy time for everyone, so the sooner the order is placed, the sooner it can be sent out, and then that’s one less thing for you to worry about!
How secure is your site? Extremely. The only payment method we accept is PayPal. If you don’t already have an account, they’re quick, easy and free to set up, and as a reputable and recognised third party, it means at no time do we have any access to your bank account or credit card details. Effectively, you pay them, then they pay us.
How long will it take to get the letter? Due to the postal strikes in the UK at the moment, we’re processing on an ongoing basis. All requests should be in the post within 5 working days of receipt. PDF Versions will be emailed to you within 5 days, and within 24hours if the order is placed after 20th December.
How will I know you’re dealing with my order? As soon as we receive an email order and the matching payment confirmation from PayPal, we’ll issue a confirmation note to the email address on the original order form.
What should I expect to receive? The letter will be printed onto high quality paper and folded inside a specially crafted envelope addressed to the recipient, complete with stamp and postmark from the North Pole. This is then placed inside a larger, standard envelope addressed to the nominated party – usually the ‘grown ups’ in the house. This means the special envelope can be incorporated into the regular post and handed over to the lucky boy or girl as and when its deemed most appropriate in each individual case.
I want to send a joke letter to an adult. Does it need to come to me first, or can
it be delivered direct to them? It’s no problem at all to send a letter directly
to the recipient. The only drawback is that we’ve had instances in the past of the
Royal Mail returning envelopes to us undelivered -
Is there a money back guarantee? Of course! The whole point of what we do is to put smiles on people’s faces, and if the letter you receive doesn’t leave you 100% satisfied, simply return it and the envelope for a full refund. In the unlikely event you choose to do this, contact us via the website, making sure you quote the same email address you used on the original order so we can track you down, and we’ll send your money back to you via Paypal as soon as we receive the letter. We’d also appreciate your feedback as to why you weren’t happy, so we can learn and improve in the future.
